Dr. Monica Graham MD
Dr. Monica J.R. Graham has been dedicated to working in all communities of Houston, Texas since her arrival in 1997. As a graduate of Tuskegee University in Tuskegee, Alabama and Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee, she understands the importance of hard work and dedication to her community. While completing her Family Medicine Residency at University of Texas in Houston, she continued expanding her knowledge and love for the people of Houston.
She served in the National Health Service Corp for four and a half years and she dedicated her time to the community while working at South Central Houston Community Health Center (currently Central Care Community Health Center). Following that she partnered in managing her private practice located in the Third Ward of Houston. While in private practice she also traveled Texas as a Designated Doctor evaluating workers for disability benefits. This work continued to broaden her scope of Family Medicine. Prior to returning back to Central Care Community Health Center she had been using her compassion for people by bringing primary care services to the home by visiting homebound patients who could not otherwise access comprehensive medical care. This in collaboration with her work with Hospice patients rounds out her experience as a Board Certified Family Physician.
She enjoys sharing her experiences with youth as she speaks at schools and community events. She is excited to join the Central Care organization as it moves forward into the twenty first century.
