Marcus Roland, MBA
Marcus Roland is the current President and Chief Executive Officer for Central Care Community Health Center. He has over 15 years of experience in Community Health Center Management. He received his B.B.A. in Accounting from Northeast Louisiana University. Mr. Roland has a Master of Business Administration from Prairie View A&M University.
Marcus Roland began his Community Health Center Career at David Raines Community Health Center in Shreveport Louisiana in 1995. He started out as a staff account and was promoted through the years to Chief Financial Officer. Mr. Roland worked at Peoples Community Center in St. Louis and finally settled in at Central Care Community Health Center in Houston where he is currently serving as Chief Executive Officer.
Mr. Roland works with many community agencies to coordinate healthcare services to the underserved populations of the Greater Houston area. Mr. Roland is a member of the United States Department of Health and Human Services Region VI Health Equity Board, which focuses on ending health disparities and developing quality health outcomes for all people across America. Mr. Roland also provides technical assistance to other Federally Qualified Community Health Centers across the country in the areas of Finance and Management. Mr. Roland also currently serves as Board Treasurer of the Partners for Community Health, Federally Qualified Community Health Center controlled network in Houston Texas.
